6RH have been putting their creativity and faith into action by producing beautiful Nativity themed artwork to share with their local parish community. As part of their Faith in Action award, the children were challenged to think deeply about the meaning of Christmas and alongside their illustrations, they carefully selected scripture pieces to share encouragement and joy. Class 6CT enjoyed their afternoon using their knowledge of circuits to make a set of traffic lights!

We pedalled our way to a delicious fruit smoothie! 6Ct showed plenty of determination and enthusiasm as they powered the blender with their own cycling energy. It was a fun and tasty way to stay active and learn about healthy choices!

6RH have been busy exploring electrical circuits, learning how to connect components like bulbs, wires, and switches to make their own working systems. They experimented with creating complete and incomplete circuits, then moved on to designing clear circuit diagrams using the correct symbols. To apply their learning, the class studied how traffic lights work, discussing how a sequence of circuits controls the changing colours. By the end, they were able to explain how electr

Year 6 were inspired to write funny food poems after joining a live session with Michael Rosen! He read some of his poems and explained where he got his ideas from and how he put the poems together. We used some of his ideas to write our own poems and then read our poems out to the class.

Year 6 had a brilliant time playing and creating their own games using a wide range of equipment. We enjoyed tennis, football, and designing exciting obstacle courses. Our teamwork was fantastic — we even put into practice some of the skills we learnt at Robinwood!

Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed their time at Robinwood doing all sorts of amazing activities such as zip wire, giant swing, raft building and many more! One of our favourite things was canoeing - here we are all kitted up ready to go!
