Mental Health Awareness Week and End of Year 6 SATs Celebrations!

A big cheer went out on Thursday at the end of the final SATs test for Year 6! It has been a busy week for Year 6 who have worked extremely hard and all that hard work deserved a well-earned treat. The kitchen staff kindly made cookies for the children to enjoy mid morning, there was an extended ‘buddy break’, quizzes, and ‘Taskmaster’ type challenges throughout the day which included a scavenger hunt and a challenge to create a work of art out of toilet paper! We ended the day with ice-lollies and a film or mindful crafting activities to relax. We also shared our thoughts on strategies we use to help us when we feel stressed, anxious or overwhelmed and discussed how we can support friends when they need our help. We are really proud of Year 6 and all that they have achieved. Well done!!
