It allows us to remove barriers to learning, provide targeted support, and make sure that all pupils can access the rich, ambitious curriculum we offer. Our Pupil Premium Strategy Statement outlines everything we do. Our aim is for all disadvantaged pupils to meet or exceed national expectations and make excellent progress during their time at Star of the Sea. We work to narrow the attainment gap between disadvantaged and non‑disadvantaged pupils by improving attendance, supporting families, and ensuring that children arrive at school ready to learn. High‑quality teaching for all is at the heart of our strategy, and we make sure that pupils who need additional help receive timely, effective support. We also ensure that every child is appropriately challenged so they can achieve their full potential.

These experiences help build confidence, broaden horizons, and support children’s well‑being.
