Year 6 Celebrate Shakespeare Week!

Shakespeare Week was great fun for Year 6 who worked hard on reading and understanding the themes and quotes from Much Ado About Nothing, which is a comedy centered around two main love stories: the romance between Claudio and Hero, and the witty banter and eventual love between Benedick and Beatrice. The play unfolds in Messina, Italy, where a group of friends, including Don Pedro, return from war. The story involves a malicious plot by Don John to ruin Claudio and Hero's wedding, leading to a temporary downfall of Hero's reputation. Ultimately, through a combination of deception and revelation, the two couples find happiness and marry. The children planned which characters they would play for their final presentations and had lots of fun practising their lines and re-enacting events. The final results were fantastic! Well done to Year 6!
