Snowy days! What an exciting start to 2026!

Year 6 'Advent' Faith in Action
6RH have been putting their creativity and faith into action by producing beautiful Nativity themed artwork to share with their local parish community. We are Bakers in Reception!
Reception enjoyed making their own bread to end their learning based on the story 'The Little Red Hen'. We weighed, mixed, kneaded and shaped the dough before baking it in our oven. Our school smelled amazing and the children thoroughly enjoyed the process!

6RH Explore Electricity.
6RH have been busy exploring electrical circuits, learning how to connect components like bulbs, wires, and switches to make their own working systems. They experimented with creating complete and incomplete circuits, then moved on to designing clear circuit diagrams using the correct symbols. Michael Rosen Day - Funny Food Poems
Year 6 were inspired to write funny food poems after joining a live session with Michael Rosen! He read some of his poems and explained where he got his ideas from and how he put the poems together. We used some of his ideas to write our own poems and then read our poems out to the class.
