When we got off the bus we got all our stuff and went to the main hall, called the auditorium. We were introduced to the leaders and found out which lodges we were in, with which teachers, who we were sharing with and which room number was ours. We went back to the main hall and got into groups. We gave our groups names, then we played a game called Chuki which is like Simon says. At dinner we ate burgers, they were delish, or you could have chicken fajitas. For pudding we had donuts, cookies or fresh fruit. After dinner we went back to our lodges and had some time to unpack. We were told the theme was lost and found, we made luggage tags, put them on some lights and had reflection time. After prayer time, we went back to our lodges. We had birthday cake for Milan and sang to him then we got changed into our pj’s and watched a movie. We were at our lodges at around 9 pm and we could stay up until 10pm.
Next morning we got ready and ate breakfast, with options of toast, yogurt, juice, milk and fresh fruit. We went to the main hall after and did a morning animal quiz and a carousel and did 4 activities in it. Lunch was sandwiches, biscuits and fresh fruit and we had a break outside. After lunch we did a scavenger hunt, all the words we collected from the scavenger hunt spelt words like Kindness, Peaceful and Joyful. We heard about the story of The Lost Coin and made our own coins. We had reflection time, then we went to our lodges to get showered and into our pj’s, we went to bed at 10pm. In the morning, after breakfast, we stripped our beds, emptied our bins and packed. After all, it was the last day. We put our luggage in the storage shed and went to the main hall. There were a few activities, we did a Disney song quiz and sang songs and learned a Spanish song. After lunch we went to get our bags and loaded them onto the bus, we got on the bus and went back to school. We were greeted by our parents and went home or back to class.
