Year 4 had a fantastic time on their YMT residential trip!

Year 4 enjoyed a fabulous residential trip to the Emmaus Youth Village in Consett. This was a fun-packed time full of activities and workshops based around the theme of St Peter such as, watching films, crafting, drama, dance (they even learnt the Lord’s prayer to music and sign language!).
The children had an amazing time. Here are some of their thoughts taken from letters of thanks sent to the Youth Ministry Team:
“Thank you for the delicious food; it was amazing and we got to sit with all our friends. Thank you for the lodges and the cosy beds that we had. The cleaners did a great job at cleaning the rooms too. The disco was really fun! The songs that people requested were so good. Thank you.” - Emma
“All the leaders were really kind. I would love to go again. There were so many things that I loved. The reflection area was really nice - I loved making origami boats and writing prayers on them. I loved watching the films about Peter. I really think everyone enjoyed them. The disco was amazing and we even did the conga! I was so happy, I couldn’t sleep that night! Thank you. - Eva
