On Wednesday 26th June, Y6 travelled to the Youth Village in Consett for the Primary Festival along with many other schools.
When we arrived, we were given coloured wristbands and put into groups for the morning activities.
We sang songs like ‘Praise’ and ‘Let Your Kingdom Come’ and lots more. We made pom poms to take and wave while we were singing!
We had lunch outside in the sunshine and played games. We also visited the tuck shop.
In the afternoon, we watched a film. It was a true story of Phiona the chess player. We had a liturgy to end the day before going home.
It was a brilliant day!
