Who killed Chico Mendez?

We have been learning about the rainforests of Brazil as part of our topic on Ecosystems. This week we learnt about how humans use the rainforests and how people are trying to protect them.

Chico Mendez was a rainforest activist who was murdered for trying to stop people using and destroying the rainforest. We worked in groups and looked at all of the clues before we made our decisions.

This helped us to understand some of the ways people can help to save the rainforest – the lungs of the earth!
