This week, our Year 5 pupils took part in a valuable road safety refresher session led by North Tyneside Council. The workshop was designed to reinforce key safety messages and equip children with practical knowledge to help them stay safe while walking or cycling near roads.
Through engaging activities and discussions, pupils revisited important topics such as the Green Cross Code, safe crossing points, and how to be visible to drivers. The session also encouraged pupils to think critically about real-life scenarios and make safe choices when out and about.
We’re grateful to North Tyneside Council for their continued support in promoting road safety in our community. The children responded brilliantly and left the session feeling more confident and informed.
