Year 5 enjoyed celebrating Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary church with Father Andrew, parents and the wider congregation. We talked about and shared our learning about reconciliation, and how the freedom granted to us by God should be used responsibly. We read Mark’s gospel and listened to the importance of God’s commandments. We wrote our own bidding prayers, praying for peace, for the sick and elderly, those who have suffered loss or bereavement, our Year 4 pupils making their First Holy Communions this weekend, and finally, our Year pupils who are leaving us this year to move on to pastures new at high school. We shared some creative artwork alongside our prayers.
