Shrove Tuesday pancake race in Reception

February 14, 2024

Reception were learning about the significance of Shrove Tuesday marking the day before lent and why lots of people traditionally eat pancakes on this day. We then went outside and had a pancake race against our friends as we tried to flip the pancake as we ran. Back in the classroom, we all had a delicious pancake with some golden syrup as a treat for our efforts. Yummy!
