In RE this term, the children have been working incredibly hard and learning about the Local Church. Early Years have learnt that the Parish community gathers to celebrate such occasions as Baptism, Christmas and weddings. Year 1 have focused on how the parish family gathers in church to celebrate the Good News of Jesus. Year 2 have looked at the Bible and other books used during the Mass. The Liturgical year has been the focus for Year 3 and in Year 4 they looked at the different vocations within the Church. Year 5 and 6 have been learning about how the Apostles share in Christ’s mission and that God is truly present in Scripture.
