Desert Survival Day

Year 3

January 30, 2024

After surviving an aeroplane crash, 3KA competed in different team challenges to see which team would win seats on the rescue plane back home. Due to Monday’s heavy downpour, our school field resembled more of a quagmire than a desert but that didn’t stop us from having lots of fun! We worked together to build tents and competed in races that involved us trying to save water and get dressed into desert clothing. We also made SOS signs out of debris from the crash. The last challenge involved us building bridges and travelling across the yard by only standing in hula-hoops.
