lego stem project

We have been so very fortunate this year to have been gifted a large quantity of robotics Lego here at Star of the Sea, made possible by our relationship with Siemens-Gamesa. We have launched our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) project around our school.

Children work in teams to design, build and programme Lego. This year’s theme is active play and so our children will design play spaces that can be accessible to all and encourage people to get active. Over 12 sessions children experience designing, building and programming with an emphasis on teamwork and most importantly fun!

Keep an eye out for the projects our children are creating on this page and on our Twitter feed.
