We hope you are all well. We are missing you and are loving seeing pictures of you and all of the work you are doing. You can send photos and tweets to email@example.com or @starseatweets where you can also follow us if you would like to.
You can find this week’s work in the document below. We’ll be starting a new novel in English. You can find it in our Story section. It’s called ‘The Wild Robot’ by Peter Brown and we think you’ll really enjoy it. In Maths, you will spend the week investigating ‘Time’ and building on all the good work done in school already. Then, we are going back in time for your History activity to VE (Victory in Europe) Day which we celebrate on Friday with a special bank holiday. This week, we’d also like you to continue your Science from last week by working through the excellent BBC Bitesize resources ‘Food Chains and Habitats’. In RE, we are moving on to our ‘Pentecost’ topic and starting with the idea of good news which we think will be a nice thing to focus on at the moment.
You will also see some Maths, Handwriting and Spelling sheets. Don't worry if you can't print them or you don't want to. You can just copy the work straight into your book instead. However, if you would like paper copies of this week's work, please contact the school office on 643 2080.
Stay safe and we’ll see you soon.Mrs Keane, Mr Thompson and Mrs Coulson
